To our fans,
0Hey guys, Paradox here.
I know that last week we didn’t have an episode ready for you. This week is going to be much of the same, and I’d like to talk a bit about why that is. Recently I have been finding it hard to make the time to stay informed about the changes in League, and find the time to play not just for information, but also for fun. Between my current full time job and preparing for an episode each week I was finding less and less time for the things I enjoy (including playing LoL). Because of this I was becoming increasingly frustrated at League, and preparing for a podcast felt like a chore. Instead of playing for fun, I was playing a hand full of champions that changed that patch cycle as well as a new champion, instead of ones I enjoyed. I was also left with no time to participate in other hobbies I enjoy as well. In addition to these feelings It appeared that as a show, our popularity had begone to plateau. I feel much of this is do to how saturated the community currently is with user generated shows and events. This is not a bad thing as far as I’m concerned, but I feel our place in it all has kind of come and gone.
The All MIA Podcast had been a pioneer in the scene, bringing you the first LoL Podcast with a high production value. People such as Travis with State of the League have taken that bar and pushed it to another level. While this is great for the community as a whole, it created a much larger gap between what we do here, and what others like Travis are doing. The communities interests are shifting, and the time required for the show to adjust to these new interests is more then I can take on. Instead of pushing my self to the edge trying to compete, I’d much rather be another player again. One who enjoys the game for what it is, and can enjoy the content others are creating. So you can still find me playing League of Legends, but now I’ll be enjoying it more then I have in the last 6 months. Feel free to add me in game and I’ll probably be down for playing some games with you. The chat room in game (allmia) will still be open for people to hang out, and our ventrilo server (provided by guild launch) is still going to be open and free to the public (if I have to start paying for it my self I will). I’ll probably still make some updates on Youtube when I can.
I really enjoyed all the time we spent together! Who knows, maybe in the future we’ll come back. For right now though, I need to place a few other things ahead of keeping the show running. So go forth Summoners, enjoy League to its fullest! Things are only going up from here, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the community and the game. I’ll be here enjoying it along side you all. Remember, don’t be a stranger!
Sincerely
Tom “Paradox” Pomeroy
PS.
I know a lot of you have asked for it in the past, so as a gift to you guys (its the least I could do) here is the full intro with no ads for you to all enjoy!

Episode #059 – NEWS FLASH

This week on the All MIA Podcast we do another Play Cast! Through the magic of AUDIO EDITING, you should likely not hear a butt load of awkward mid fight chatter. We discuss the new items as well as Ziggs, the newest champion coming to League of Legends! Riot was kind enough to push out the patch notes mid cast, and we talk about all that as well! We’re going to try something a little different with the “play cast” style next week. I feel it goes with out saying, playing and reading a google doc full of spells and what not is really hard!
